Mystical
Legends Guide Service offers you the finest
Washington State has to offer in Salmon and
Steelhead fishing. From the pristine rivers
of the Washington coast such as the Humptulips,
Wynoochee, Clearwater, Satsop, Chehalis or
if those beautiful rivers are not producing
we may be fishing one of the many inland rivers
we have within an easy drive from the Seattle,
Tacoma or Everett areas, such as the Skagit,
Cowlitz, Skykomish or Columbia just to name
a couple of the better known rivers in the
state. When it comes to Salmon and Steelhead
in Washington State, we'll hook you up. Years
of on the water experience as well fishing
almost everyday and having a great network
of friends and fellow guides who are on the
water daily helps us know where to put our
anglers so that they are in the best possible
spot to catch the Salmon and or Steelhead
they are looking for.
We
here in Washington are fortunate to have some
world class Salmon and Steelhead fishing in
our back yards. I take great pride in not
only getting my guest into fish but teaching
them how to be better anglers so they can
bring more knowledge with them the next time
they go fishing. There's nothing better than
watching one of my clients land a 50 pound
Chinook or a 20 pound Steelhead and see the
look on their facepriceless!
In
the fall some of the best King salmon fishing
in the in the lower 48 takes place less than
2 hours from the Seattle, Tacoma, Everett
area. We get days that not only produce 20
plus hookups a day but produce trophy fish
in the 50 pound range. Or, what about those
huge Silver Salmon that push into the 20 pound
range that are known for being highly acrobatic.
In the mix of trophy Chinook and Coho Salmon
throw in the mean and hard fighting Chum salmon
that is know for being one of the toughest
fighting salmon there is and you could have
a day you'll never forget.
As
we get into November fishing for big bright
Chinook and Coho continues but we begin to
see our first signs of Winter Steelhead. We
continue to fish for these thru April, still
just a short drive from the Seattle, Tacoma,
Everett areas you'll have a chance at multiple
hook ups on these heart pounding silver rockets
that range into that 20 pound trophy range.
Late
winter early spring is when we start seeing
our first Spring Chinook of the year. Known
for being some of the finest tasting Salmon
on the planet these hard fighting fish get
all of our attention from April thru Mid June.
We fish the Columbia River including Drano
Lake and the Wind River area as well as the
Cowlitz, Kalama and Lewis Rivers.
The
summers here in Washington are absolutely
gorgeous and the fishing can be even more
beautiful. Staring in late May we are usually
fishing the Cowlitz River for those fresh
Spring Chinook when we start getting our Summer
Steelhead run in full force. HOT, HOT, HOT
can describe some of the Summer Steelhead
fishing on the Cowlitz River from late May
thru September. The Cowlitz River is my "Go
To" river in the Summer and these fish are
extremely aggressive. If you've never fished
for Steelhead in the summer, you are missing
out!
